Start your morning with coffee on the expansive top deck, watching the sky brighten over the coast. Head to the beach for swimming, sandcastles, and long walks, then return to your own private retreat for lunch and a poolside afternoon.

The spacious top deck offers ocean views and room to enjoy the coastal breeze. It’s an inviting spot for sunrise coffee, a good book, or simply watching the day go by.
The back porch brings a different view and a favorite evening ritual: pausing together to enjoy the sunset. These outdoor spaces make it easy to spend more of your vacation outside. Always a great place to spot the wild horses from one of the many decks on the top and middle floors.
WHERE THE PAVEMENT ENDS
Swan Beach offers a different kind of Outer Banks getaway. Sandy roads replace pavement, the shoreline stretches out before you, and wild horses roam the area. You may see them nearby during your stay, though sightings are never guaranteed.
Blue Moon is an oceanside home, giving you a comfortable home base for exploring the 4x4 beaches and enjoying the quieter side of Corolla. Think sandy feet, pool afternoons, sunset conversations, and children asking when you can come back.
BEFORE YOU BOOK
• A 4x4 vehicle is required. Access includes driving on the beach and unpaved sand roads.
• The private pool is seasonal; please confirm availability for your dates.
• Pets are not permitted.
• No smoking or vaping inside the home.
• Fireworks and outdoor fires are prohibited.
• Enjoy wild horses from a respectful distance; never approach or feed them.
• Arrival directions and door access information are provided before check-in.

We're Marty and Kacy, the family behind Coastal Moon Collection and proud owners of Salty Moon OBX and Blue Moon OBX on the secluded 4x4 beaches of Swan Beach Corolla.
Like many of our guests, we fell in love with this special stretch of coastline where the pavement ends, wild horses still roam free, and life's pace naturally slows down. What began as a dream of owning a beach home has grown into a passion for creating places where other families can make lifelong memories together.
Every improvement we make—from thoughtful amenities and well-stocked kitchens to comfortable beds and outdoor spaces—is guided by one question: Would this make our own family vacation even better? We believe the little details create the biggest memories.
